This timber and girder bridge crosses 115th Street/Main Street just west of Luana.
Built in approximately 1920, the bridge consists of a single twinned deck girder, arranged in a four beam pattern. This girder is approached by trestle and set onto timber piles.
Until the 1980s, US-18 and US-52 crossed underneath this bridge. Unfortunately, it is unknown when it was built. A track profile indicates this track was raised in 1954.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in fair to poor condition, with significant section loss developing in the girder.
The author has ranked the bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
